Some
women who said they were paid to march in support of President
Muhammadu Buhari in a counter-rally have been caught begging for money.
The woman begging for money
Two women who supported a counter-rally organized by supporters of
President Muhammadu Buhari were recorded on tape begging for N100 to buy
pure water after they got thirty at the end of the rally.
The two unidentified women revealed that they had been compelled to
attend the rally by one of their neighbours. The video posted by
@Yarkafanchan showed one of the women carrying a placard which read, ‘We believe in President Muhammadu Buhari making Nigeria great again’ as they narrated how they found themselves at the place.
“We wan buy water, we no get money. They push us come protest,” one of the women said in pidgin.
She added: “Na our neighbour push us come, they sell water N100, dem no get purewater.”
Many people have wondered how a right thinking Nigerian would in
this harsh economic situation go up against people protesting against
the harsh economic condition of things as a result of bad government
policies.
The two women who were supporting the government had done so just
for mere peanuts which was later denied them. This shows why the elite
will continue to gang up against the masses to fleece them of their hard
earned money.
