Two
mourners fainted as a mammoth crowd attended the burial of the Chairman
of Chanchangi Airlines, on Wednesday in the Tudun wada area of Kaduna.

Ahmadu Chanchangi, the Chairman of Chanchangi Airlines, was on
Wednesday, laid to eternal rest according to Muslim tradition in the
Tudun wada area of Kaduna, as two mourners in a mammoth crowd reportedly
fainted as a result of exhaustion and hot weather.
According to Premium Times, thousands of sympathisers had trekked
to escort the ambulance carrying the body of the billionaire businessman
from his residence at Kwanan Chanchangi through Ibrahim Taiwo Road and
Bashama Road, causing a gridlock along the about three kilometres route.
Speaking to a reporter on the latest development from the funeral, a volunteer, Sani Tahir, said; “We have rushed those two who fainted to hospital and have asked volunteers to share cold water to sympathizers on the road.”
The Kaduna-based billionaire was buried around 2:03 p.m. at the
Bashama Road burial ground. The prayers at the burial ground was led by a
prominent Kaduna-based Islamic cleric, Ahmed Gummi.
