The Lagos City Marathon 2018 sponsored by Access Bank has been won by a Ugandan man in a time of two hours, fifteen minutes.

A Ugandan, Stephen Kiprotich has won the 2018 Access Bank Lagos
City Marathon 42km race in an unconfirmed record time of 2:15:04,
according to the News Agency of Nigeria.
He will take home the prize money which is a whopping $50,000. Over 100,000 people participated in the event.
In the female category, Ethiopia's Herpha Guta won with a time of 2hrs 38mins.
