In what will come across as a realy shocking development, a woman has stabbed her own son to death inside their home.

Emma Jackson, a mother has reportedly admitted to killing her five-year-old son Tyler Warmington who was found stabbed to death at their home.

 

According to a report by The Sun UK, Emma Jackson admitted manslaughter through diminished responsibility when she appeared at Oxford Crown Court today.

 

Judge Ian Pringle remanded her in custody with a condition she is detained under mental health conditions.

 

At the time of Tyler's death, a Home Office Pathologist carried out a detailed postmortem examination on the primary schoolboy and ruled that he had been fatally stabbed.

A spokesman for Thames Valley Police said the autopsy carried out at a nearby hospital mortuary had shown that Tyler suffered a number of stab wounds to his chest in the attack which left him dead.

 

The alarm was raised by a member of the public who was believed to have gone to the family home in Faringdon, Oxon., at lunchtime on March 14 last year, and the mum was arrested at the house and taken to cells at the nearby Abingdon police station.

 

Neighbour Paul Fothergill, 60, said Tyler used to attend a private prep school run by parents in Faringdon.

 

He told of how he saw Tyler in Faringdon House Preparatory School's green school uniform before the school closed down due to financial difficulties over the summer holidays last year.
